Husband’s home.

The husband didn’t go to work today. He said he needs a break and I agree. My husband is such a workaholic, you see. He leaves at 5am everyday and gets back home 5pm. Lately, he’s always under the heat of the sun (which explains his color now) because of the construction of his new buildings. He never gets tired. Only now. So here he is at home, lying down and watching his dvds non stop while I type away and try to finish all of my pending tasks. We might hit the mall later when the kids are asleep to look for another LCD TV deal again for our dining area. He complains that he doesn’t get to watch the news anymore as we almost always eat dinner by the time TV Patrol airs so he wants a TV installed on the dining wall. I don’t think its a good idea but what can I do but let him be.

I’m hoping we can catch the Transformers 2 movie after.   I’ve heard both good and not so good reviews about the movie but I still want to see it.  I also plan to eat at Fish and Co. as I am craving for their fish and chips right now. Saraaaap.  And best of all, it won’t ruin my diet. :)

HMP.

The husband has a new watch.

He also got his car new set of mags and a new hood.

He’s (together with my in laws) leaving for HK in two weeks too. And because of the flu pandemic, me and the kids will be left behind. :(

Major HMP!!!

Day Bag When Worn.

Here’s how the Day Bag looks when worn. Some of you have been wanting to see how it sits on one’s shoulder so here it is for reference.  Pardon the quality of the pictures and the background. :D Our bathroom has bad lighting and this is the best I can come up with.

bal day bag on meanother closer look

So as you can see, its not too big nor is it small. Perfect size for me. I LOVE it so far among all of my other bags.

More photos on my flickr account.

Photos were taken the morning of my daughter’s first day of school by the way. The husband and I personally took her to class. We then had breakfast at Las Paellas Cafe and went malling after looking for pet supplements while waiting for the little girl’s dismissal. Yes, for us, first school day was a family affair and something not to be missed. :)

My Balenciaga.

To those who have been waiting and wanting to see it, here it is. Finally, my Balenciaga ruby red giant hardware day bag :)

my ruby red giant hardware day bag from balenciaga

So far I am loving it! I love the color, how it perfectly sits on my shoulders and its soft leather! I so love my new bag that I now want another Balenciaga piece. A city or part time perhaps. I tell you, the picture doesn’t do justice. You have got to see the bag and carry it on your shoulders to appreciate its beauty. It fits perfectly on one’s shoulder. I’ll post a pic of me carrying it next time. :)

For now, I’ll call it a night. I have been online almost the whole day staring at the beauty of the stainless steel backsplash tiles. How I wish we can afford to have those in our house. Sigh.

(***flickr is the best. right after i upload the photo above, aba, views and comments agad! i love flickr!!! haha)

Pregnant?

I so look pregnant in this photo, agree?  Gosh, when will I ever be back to my pre-pregnancy weight? I am so frustrated! My diet pill of choice seem to not work on me anymore. I am XXX pounds overweight for some time now. As much as I try to cut on my food intake, I sometimes can’t because I end up getting migraines when I don’t eat, haha.

and there's me - no bath (yet) and all LOL

Any tips?  Or specific diet you can recommend? I am desperate, people. Not one of my old jeans fit, I swear.  :(

Sad.

10 Favorite Things To DO During ME Time.

For this week’s Ten on Tuesday.

Here’s my take.

1. Sleep.

2. Surf the net. I can spend hoursssss on this. The net is a goldmine. One can find anything and everything. With a click of a button too, shopping is right at your fingertips. Perfect example is me, right now, about to purchase the exit signs for Jon. We have been looking all over for affordable signs like what they have at exit sign warehouse but to no avail. The net is really heaven sent!

3. Watch TV - I rarely get to do this. I would love to watch local and foreign TV Shows to my hearts content. Even Wowowee will do!!! LOL. Willie doesn’t fail to make me laugh, haha. Bakya ba? :P

4. Watch DVDs of my favorite movies or new ones.

5. Go to the salon and have a makeover.

6. Shopping. I can spend the entire day at the mall even if I don’t buy anything at all. I just love looking around specially for stuff around the house. That should be enough but I almost always gets home with a something!

7. Drive around while listening to chill out music.

8. Go on a vacation!

9. Cook or bake, whichever. I don’t like the pressure of having to feed someone though, haha.

10. Laze/bum around the house.

Hooked

…on twitter and Flickr.  I just recently signed up so I’m still learning the ropes but so far, I’m enjoying both. I am even moslt likely to upgrade my flickr account so I can store and upload more photos. I think 24usd a year isn’t bad at all, right?  As for twitter, I haven’t been really active but I do read the updates.  Its really fun specially for someone who loves chismax like me, LOL!

So you see, I have more than a hundred more reasons to love the net now. I’d probably die without internet. Okay, thats an exageration but believe me, a part of me would. Really.  Internet has been a part of my daily life and not getting a dose of it a day would make me go crazy.  I’ve met and made new friends, discovered the luxury of online shopping and gets to have information right under my fingertips (how would I know of colon cleanse if not for the internet!) all because of the power internet brings. Who wouldn’t love that?

However, addicting as it is, I guess we should all find balance. After all, too much of something is always bad, right? So no matter how I’d like to stay glued to my laptop all day, I make it a point not to.  Its bad for the eyes, haha!

This post makes no sense.  I just wanted to let you all know I’m into twitter and Flickr now. Yun lang. :D

XOXO

Decided.

It took me daysss to finally decide on what camera to get. I was torn between getting a point and shoot (but with comprehensive manual settings) - Panasonic DMC LX3 and a SLR specifically the Nikon D60. After a week of changing my mind almost every other day, today, I have decided - finally.

I have thought long and hard. Asked some friends even. And the verdict? As much as I want to have a SLR (obviously for better picture quality), it just doesn’t fit my lifestyle, owning one I mean. Its just not me. I really find it hard or should I say a hassle lugging such a big camera around (with its unfashionable bag / carry case) when we go trips here and especially abroad where there are no yayas to help us carry our stuff. The husband isn’t into taking photos so its really me who’ll have to carry it around as Jon is in charge of the diaper bag and stroller you know. So, with two kids in tow and all the stuff they need when we travel, I just have to content myself with a really nice point and shoot. Don’t get me wrong, its not that I am not happy with my choice. In fact, I love the Panasonic DMC LX3 camera since the day I laid my eyes on it and it came very well recommended even by DSLR enthusiasts. Design wise, its very sleek and simple, just how I like it considering its a high performance camera. So really, couldn’t ask for anything better. This camera fits my lifestyle, its so me - I could just throw it in my bag anytime, any day. It doesn’t need a bag / carry case of its own and its not heavy!

So there. I’m hoping I made the right choice and won’t regret getting the Panasonic DMC LX3 over a DSLR or else the husband will throw a fit if I bug him again to get me a new camera when I actually don’t *really* need one (according to him) as my Canon Ixus 60 is still working and is in good shape ( according to him again! haha).

Anyway, can’t wait to try this Panasonic DMC-LX3 which is said to be the long-awaited addition to the popular Lumix LX series of high-end, compact digital still cameras. I hope its worth it and will live up to all the talk it has recently been getting.

Off to read a liporexall review now while waiting for my cam to arrive. I badly need to lose weight you see. Might hit the beach before the summer ends so I need to look my best.

Change of heart?

Okay, now I am in trouble.

I badly want a red bag and I am set on getting the Vernis Bellevue GM in red as all of you recommended in this post but for days now, I can’t stop thinking about this …

Now, I badly want it (too!). :D

Think think think ….

****(seriously, I’m getting wrinkles (and probably needs a wrinkle cream  by now) thinking over which bag to get, LOL)

Saturday 9: With a Little Help From My Friends.

Saturday 9: With a Little Help From My Friends.

1. How many of your friendships have lasted more than ten years? I only have a few. I’ve known them since high school.

2. Which of your current friends do you feel will still be important to you ten years from now? Those who know me inside out and who love me even with all my flaws. You know who you are :D

3. It’s Friday evening and you’re planning your weekend. What’s on your agenda? We’ll be out of town with my blogging friends this weekend. Can’t wait, so many activities lined up. A usual weekend would mean malling (and some shopping) and church though.

4. What was the most recent movie to scare you or give you the creeps? I usually don’t watch scary movies.

5. Finally, the new cast and movie of Star Trek are out. Excited or indifferent? Not really interested. I’m not really a fan. I saw the new cast though one time when I was surfing the net for ephedra diet pills.

6. Do you have any nervous habits? I keep quiet.

7. Do you swear in general? No.

8. Do you swear on your blog? No.

9. Does it bother you when you read a post with curse words? Not really.
