Blog of the week?

Hmmm.

I find this kinda weird. I got a message from my cbox informing me that my blog is nominated for the Filipino Blog of the Week award (week 90). Can this be true?

Oh well then, if you’ve got nothing better to do, vote for my blog here :)

Lost ring.

My husband, as I blogged before, lost his wedding ring almost a year ago already. Until now though, we haven’t replaced it yet. I wonder if we should get a new pair of wedding rings or I should just get one ring for him that is similar to his old one.  His was just a plain white gold band with small diamonds around it – very plain and simple.  He’s not into elaborate designs thats why.  He’s into the minimalist style ever since. Be it our house, our furnitures, his office and everything else – plain and simple.  That’s how he likes it.

Budget software?

Do you know a thing or two about budget software? I can’t seem to figure out how this thing works or what it exactly does. Maybe one of you can enlighten me :)

Rope Light.

We’re taking down Christmas decors today. From the Christmas tree to the Christmas lights outside the house, they are all going down today by hook or by crook. As Sophia would put it, it’s pack-away time.

Christmas is always a very special holiday to us. We make it a point to decorate the house no matter how busy our schedules are. We have a little girl who is in awe every time she sees all kind of lights and decors on houses, buildings and streets that’s why we make an effort to have our own house decorated too. Too bad we were not able to go all out with our decors this year though as we only had Christmas lights all over the house although I would have wanted to have added sculpture decoration made of Rope Light like what my mom in Pampanga has. She specifically has a Santa riding on a sleigh with a couple of reindeers. Sophia can actually stay up all night just looking at it. For the price my mom paid for that sculpture decoration, it better make my daughter stay up all night! It was expensive, yeah it was so we didn’t get one.

Jon has this brilliant idea though of making our own sculpture decoration for next year as he finds it way cheaper to make one than buy it ready made already from stores. All he needs according to him is quality LED Rope Light anyway and some creativity which I proudly say my husband has a lot of. He’s had some projects similar to this when he was in college according to him as he was into Fine Arts just so you know. So I’m sure this project is going to be easy. We just need to find the right rope light that is of high quality to avoid any accidents like fire.

HolidayLeds.com has got what we need. They have the best professional grade 120 Volt LED Rope Light which is incredibly flexible, brilliant, long lasting, colorful, and dimmable. They come in different colors and can be sold in bulk and can be cut to length with connectors and clips. Best of all, HolidayLeds’ rope lights are energy efficient. Something we all want right? After all, we’ll be lighting them every single day probably in the whole month of December and considering that we’ll be using quite a lot of it too as rope lights are not only great for sculpture decoration (like what we are planning to do) but building outlines, step lighting, handrails, displays, window and architectural highlighting, decks, patios, gazebos, boats, RVs, and more too. So for your rope light needs, don’t look anywhere else, be safe and go to http://www.holidayleds.com.
