I am planning a surprise dinner party for Jon’s birthday on Sunday here at home. I am inviting some of his friends over the years. I’m sure my husband will be very much pleased as he has been so busy lately to meet up with them and chat. I’m sure he’ll be bragging about his new labrador too, hahaha. Everything’s all ready, I just wish it won’t rain on Sunday and I’m really hoping that the patio furniture we ordered last week will be delivered in time for the party.

We spent the weekend in Tagaytay and now I’m uber lazy to post. Hopefully will get back to the groove of blogging really soon.

It’s so funny you all make the same comments, that it’s so not me to have any updates on my blogs. Haha. True, true, can’t agree more! Ewan ko ba, I’m just really so tamad to post lately. But I’m pretty sure, I will later or tom as some work needs to be done ASAP. LOL!

As for my haircut, nope, haven’t had one yet. Was out the whole weekend that’s why. Will have it this Wednesday, promise!

It has been really hot the past couple of days so I guess summer is officially here. We have yet to hit the beach again not until the month of May so I have to content Sophia with her portable pool as of now. As you all know, summer means swimming to kids, right? She has actually been bugging me to put out her portable pool and lay it out in the garden for days already. I think I should give in now as the weather really calls for it. I might even invite other mommies over too so Sophia can swim with her friends. I’m thinking of having a little picnic over some barbecue to top off an afternoon fun. This is the advantage of having a pretty large garden area or lawn, we can pretty much do anything we want. Now all I need is to get some teak patio furniture where mommies can laze around while the kids swim and we are all set.

How did you spend your Easter Sunday?

Definitely with good food.

We went to Robinson’s Place Residence (above Rob Place) to meet with my in-laws. We then had lunch at the Shabu-Shabu Resto in Midtown Wing. I was finally able to taste Crepes and Cream for dessert after how Peachy and Abie were raving about it. For P95, it was sulit. I made Sophia take a nap after in the condo while Jon went to Cartimar to buy dog food with a friend. He has a new labrador by the way – show quality which spells expensive! Hay, thats another story by itself. On to my kwento, while the little girl was napping, I had time to go around and window shop. The Midtown Wing is promising but most stores are not yet operational.

By 5pm, we were off to Zucchini’s for a good dinner. Was able to take some pics using my cellphone. Take a look.

I had Ceasar Salad and King Prawns while Jon had Rib Eye Steak. Food was superb. You must try them! Their chocolate cake ice cream was to die for! I wasn’t able to take a pic of it though. Inaasar ako ni Jon eh, hehe

If I was filthy rich which will make money a non-issue, I would have bought an oceanfront property in an instant. What is more relaxing than the sight and sound of the ocean greeting you every morning? Me and my whole family won’t even have to go on vacations anymore every summer to enjoy the beach as we can enjoy it everyday! Wouldn’t that be so much fun?

Oh, some stuff are just meant to be part of the things we want but can’t have, agree? Unless I win the lottery!

Like Aggie and Alpha I’m also itching to have my haircut soon. For the longest time now, I have been seriously contemplating on whether to cut my hair short. You see, I’ve grown tired of wearing my hair long for a long time now. And when I say long, say about a decade?!? LOL.

When I saw La Greta had a bob last year, I so wanted to have a haircut right there and then but I couldn’t find the courage to. Baka di bagay! The last time I had a bob was when I was still in first year college, goodness! I was still stick thin then. Now, my face is all big, which I wonder would look bigger if I had a bob?!

Naku, bahala na si batman. Sana lumakas loob ko parang si Alpha. Go for gold ba? HAHA.
