All about my better half.

Tagged by Liv.

How long did you date? 4 years.

How old is he? He’s turning 30 this April.

Who eats more? Used to be him but since he’s on a diet now, I’d say me.

Who said “I love you” first? Him, of course! Pakipot ako noh!

Who is taller? He’s taller by an inch and a half only, hehe. This explains why you won’t see me on high heels.

Who sings better? I’d say him.

Who is smarter? Tough question, but I’d say me. HAHA. Kapal. I’m street smart but dude my hubby is a born businessman which is very ideal to me bwahahahahahaha.

Whose temper is worse? Just like Liv, my husband is scary when he gets mad but rarely does, but i get mad faster.

Who does the laundry? The helper.

Who does the dishes? The helper.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Sophia!

Who pays the bills? HIM!

Who mows the lawn? Our driver cum gardener.

Who cooks dinner? The helper. When I’m in the mood, I do the cooking, sometimes.

Who drives when you are together? Oh, him. All the time.

Who is more stubborn? Since we’re both the eldest in the family, I’d say we are both equally stubborn.

Who kissed who first? Jon syempre.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? No one, haha.

Whose parents do you see the most? Jon’s.

Who proposed? He did.

Who is more sensitive? Me.

Who has more friends? Jon.

Who has more siblings? Me.

Who wears the pants in the family? Well, I’d honestly say without batting an eyelash, him. Doesn’t matter, as long as I get to have what I want, materially speaking. HAHA. Oh yes, materialistic indeed. LOL.

Its your turn to spill the beans Jacqui, Apple, Peachy, Joy, Mich, Apols, Jody, Thea, Abie, Aggie, Jesse, Chat and Dez.

Hubby’s turn.

I can’t find the courage to post the photos from the bridal shower party I’ve attended last Saturday even if Kelly would insist I post them. If I do, this blog might be branded a porno blog, HAHA.

Anyway, it was Jon’s turn the other night to attend the guy’s stag party. (The couple are our long time friends if you’re wondering). He came home at about the same time I did, 3:30am. I bet theirs was wilder if ever there is such a term. As he woke up the next day, I casually asked him how the stag party went and he casually told me how it did. Apparently, they spent most of the time playing beer pong as Melvin brought a portable beer pong table. Of course, there were the “stars of the night” too if you know what I mean. ;) Last I heard, one was a starlet. Hmm, I wonder who.

My mom and her parties.

I’m not a very outgoing person, the exact opposite of my mom. If my mom loves throwing parties for her friends at home every so often, I’d rather spend my nights watching DVDs alone. Until now that I got married, I still haven’t changed. Don’t get me wrong but I love spending time or partying with our friends here at home but not as often. And I prefer it that way. Do I qualify as a loner then?

Anyway, back to my mom. As usual, she’s now working on having a cocktail party for her ballroom dancing friends in her house. She has been asking for my help as she is quite busy these days with work. She wanted me to take care of the details making sure that it’ll be a fun and hassle free night. Just so you know how addicted my mom is with parties, you’ll be surprised that she has a complete set of buffet furniture in her house. From buffet cabinets to buffet tables, she has them. The furnitures are all coordinated too having contemporary style just like the whole look of her house. She has invested in these stuff a long time ago. She’d usually get a piece every once in awhile and after some time, she already has a complete set of her own. The pieces my mom has are some sort of similar to what they sell in eBuffet.com which carries both expensive and inexpensive buffet furniture, buffet tables and buffet cabinets.  They also have a variety of designs to choose from but also carries the one like my mom’s, contemporary design.

Oh well, enough of this talk, I need to get moving and call her caterer to finalize the menu or else I’ll be dead. ;)

Life outside mommyhood.

This blog from now on will show you my life outside my chosen career which is mommyhood. As I have said in my new mommy blog, no matter how doting a mother I am I still need the break to be just me every now and then. We all do, right? So this blog is my break. No mommy talks here. Just plain JANE talks as a wife, a daughter, a friend, a shopping buddy and sometimes, very rare if I may say, a bi*ch if the situation calls for it. :D

So if you want to keep track of how I mother a 3yo little girl who happens to talk more than I do, point your browsers to Mommyhood and Me. If, on the other hand, you’re sick and tired of my mommy musings and mutterings and would like to read up on what I have been up to lately, this blog is the one for you. But please do link them both. LOL! I’ll be maintaining just these two blogs from now on.

See you around!
