Sleeping Beauty Bedroom Furniture Set.

Here’s the Sleeping Beauty Bedroom Furniture Set I was talking about in this post. It’s actually my first choice among all those we have seen. I first saw this at Rustan’s but later found out about their main branch which is at Shangri-la, a store called Mickey’s Space. I like the pieces in this particular theme compared to those of Color and Life and other themes at Mickey’s Space (they have a lot!) although I don’t like how they are placed or positioned here in this photo which I took at their store in Shang.

So what do you think? Good choice ba? This particular set includes the desk with book cabinet, a bed, clothes cabinet and a whole body mirror.

Bummer lang, they increased prices a week ago daw! Hay!

It also includes this bookshelf  that I really like but still thinking if I am getting as it would make Sophia’s room so sikip na.

Unexpected expense.

I’m still in mad mode.

The glass sink in our bathroom had a chip on the side. I asked my helpers and nobody seems to know what happened. I haven’t told the husband yet but I will tonight and I’m sure he’ll be as mad because it means another (unexpected!) expense again.  This particular sink doesn’t come cheap you know!  If you are wondering, here’s how it looks like …

Missing in action.

Yesterday, I was fuming mad at the husband. You see, we were in Makati to attend my cousin’s 7th birthday party when he said he’ll drop by to Glorietta for awhile to look for something. The party was already almost over and he still was not back. Grrr. I texted him and apparently he was buying himself another exercise machine so it took him so long as he couldn’t decide which to get from the wide array of ellipticals available. So this is how it is to have a health buff hubby alright.  HAY!!!!

Coffee Prince Verdict.

630426101_f75ff1d1f3_o.jpg

I know I know, this is a decade late. :D

My verdict - I am no coffee lover.

I hope Aggie and Joy won’t boycott my blogs for saying this but I didn’t really like the series. No matter how I try to absorb the idea of some guy (Gong Yoo) falling for another guy (kuno), I can’t. There is no doubt though that Gong Yoo is HOT, sizzling hot I must say. He looks really cute too in almost all scenes but beyond his looks, there’s really nothing for me to rave about the show. Naku, papatayin nako ni Aggie and Joy nito hahaha. I wonder if my pregnancy hormones have something to do with it but I didn’t get kilig at all with Coffee Prince which is the usual case when I’m watching Koreanovelas. Yung girl kase di ko mavisualize na babae bwahahaha. Crazy isn’t it?

When I think of it, maybe I like mine (Koreanovelas that is) with a lot of drama and whose story is based on real life situations. With Coffee Prince, I feel that such story is not possible, at least for me that is, so it didn’t appeal to me.

But as I said, Gong Yoo is HOT. :)

Same old story.

How many times have we heard stories of how people mismanage their finances and end up with nothing after all the hardwork they have exerted? Countless times I must say. Take for example someone I know who lives the life many could only dream of having. Designer clothes, gadgets, shopping sprees, travels out of the county, name it. She lived like there was no tomorrow. She thought she was on top of everything and her road to success was unstoppable only to find out that life sometimes takes crazy turns.

Her agony started when she got hooked to gambling. Coupled with her regular routine spending, she suddenly found herself in deep debt. A couple of her good and trusted friends went out of their way to help her and made her aware of debt consolidation for her to get a grip of her real financial status and future. What is debt consolidation you may ask. Debt consolidation entails taking out one loan to pay off many others. This is often done to secure a lower interest rate, secure a fixed interest rate or for the convenience of servicing only one loan. There are plenty of companies out there willing to help. Of course, you should be careful about who you trust.

For a awhile, I was told that the girl was in denial which is probably normal to people who suddenly has a change of lifestyle. But it was soon after that her friends got her to accept what has happened and there’s no better thing to do but move on and do something about the problem. Last I heard, she finally was able to decide that she needed help and is in fact talking with debt consolidators to date.

Back for good?

I wish!

If you have noticed, I have been quite active with blogging in the past days. I am feeling better thats why. I just hope this continues so I can really be back with blogging - for good.  I missed reading up on all your updates and I hope to catch up soon. For tags and ex-links, please send me messages again and I will do all your tags and will update my links too.

See you around!

Lights.

Our bathroom’s lighting needs some fixing. When the people from the Home Alarm System company installed the Burglar Alarm System some weeks ago, they accidentally broke one of the wall lanterns we have in the bathroom so I am now looking for a replacement. As I search for a replacement over the net, I came across maxim lighting which has a very nice array of bathroom lighting available online. Here are two samples I like.

Shopping date.

Tomorrow, I’ve committed to my good friend Jackie in helping her shop for stuff they need to fill their newly renovated condo in Mandaluyong. She’s particularly interested in looking for indoor lighting fixtures. I can’t wait as its going to be a bonding time for us mommies again. The last time with just us getting together minus the kids and hubbies is like eons of years ago, LOL. I wonder where we’ll be eating for lunch. I hope we get to try Pepper Lunch!

Back from Bora.

boracay-059.JPG

We are finally back from our short Bora trip. I thought we won’t push through with the trip as the weather was bad but surprisingly, like a miracle, weather cleared up when we got there. Not really super sunny but atleast there was no rain anymore so we were able to enjoy the whole Saturday swimming and going around. It was windy though. Nevertheless, the rain stopping was more than enough for us as we were expecting the worst because there were supposed to be two typhoons.

So what do I think of Bora? Hmm. I don’t know. Not really pleased. Aside from the uber thin ladies who are all probably taking lipovox parading along the shoreline, nothing really struck me. Now I am really convinced that I’m no beach lover. There’s really not much to do but swim and eat. Well, I love the eating part. So yummy the fresh seafood from D Talipapa! We feasted on shrimps, crabs, squids and lobsters!!! Oh my, super sarap! Aside from the eating part, I wasn’t excited on other things, not even with D Mall. I would have loved to try the Banana Boat but I can’t as I’m pregnant. Oh, I almost forgot, was also able to try the famous shake from from Jonah’s and its good, nothing fancy.

Anyway, seeing Sophia and the husband and the yaya have fun in the sun and the so fine sand was enough for me. I just don’t like Sophia’s color now, nog-nog na. :D
