Coffee Prince Verdict.

I know I know, this is a decade late. :D

My verdict - I am no coffee lover.

I hope Aggie and Joy won’t boycott my blogs for saying this but I didn’t really like the series. No matter how I try to absorb the idea of some guy (Gong Yoo) falling for another guy (kuno), I can’t. There is no doubt though that Gong Yoo is HOT, sizzling hot I must say. He looks really cute too in almost all scenes but beyond his looks, there’s really nothing for me to rave about the show. Naku, papatayin nako ni Aggie and Joy nito hahaha. I wonder if my pregnancy hormones have something to do with it but I didn’t get kilig at all with Coffee Prince which is the usual case when I’m watching Koreanovelas. Yung girl kase di ko mavisualize na babae bwahahaha. Crazy isn’t it?

When I think of it, maybe I like mine (Koreanovelas that is) with a lot of drama and whose story is based on real life situations. With Coffee Prince, I feel that such story is not possible, at least for me that is, so it didn’t appeal to me.

But as I said, Gong Yoo is HOT. :)

Same old story.

How many times have we heard stories of how people mismanage their finances and end up with nothing after all the hardwork they have exerted? Countless times I must say. Take for example someone I know who lives the life many could only dream of having. Designer clothes, gadgets, shopping sprees, travels out of the county, name it. She lived like there was no tomorrow. She thought she was on top of everything and her road to success was unstoppable only to find out that life sometimes takes crazy turns.

Her agony started when she got hooked to gambling. Coupled with her regular routine spending, she suddenly found herself in deep debt. A couple of her good and trusted friends went out of their way to help her and made her aware of debt consolidation for her to get a grip of her real financial status and future. What is debt consolidation you may ask. Debt consolidation entails taking out one loan to pay off many others. This is often done to secure a lower interest rate, secure a fixed interest rate or for the convenience of servicing only one loan. There are plenty of companies out there willing to help. Of course, you should be careful about who you trust.

For a awhile, I was told that the girl was in denial which is probably normal to people who suddenly has a change of lifestyle. But it was soon after that her friends got her to accept what has happened and there’s no better thing to do but move on and do something about the problem. Last I heard, she finally was able to decide that she needed help and is in fact talking with debt consolidators to date.
