Updating….

Hi ladies!

Okay, I haven’t been updating this blog for some time as you all noticed but you can always give my other blog a visit for recent updates - Mommyhood and Me. Anyway, I have been extremely busy and lazy lately. I should learn how to juggle my time more so I can accomplish more too. Thing are a bit crazy in the house too as I found out that one of my helper is pregnant. So this means, I’ll be in search for a new one I can trust to clean our room even if we are not home again. And this is such a HARD thing to do agree? Its so hard to look for a competent helper these days. More so, a trustworthy one. Ako pa naman, I am very burara with my stuff. Hay, that’s a different story.

For the past days, we have also been getting a lot of broken stuff in the house. The microwave oven conked out, the air conditioning compressor needs replacing and my hot water dispenser suddenly stopped working. Hay, endless… Good thing, I have a very maabilidad na driver who is a gardener in the afternoon and a technician by night. LOL.

I hope to be able to update this blog more. Maybe when I get my groove back and try to work on schedule na. I just have too many things on my mind now. Sophia and Baby Bullet’s joint 4th birthday and baptism celebration is one of them. :) I know, I know too early diba? But hey, I need to make the husband agree on a budget so I am already canvassing as early as now. So far, seems like I am on the right track!!!

My HK loot.

Days before we left for Hongkong, I was convinced to get the Hampstead MM in Damier. I even called the LV store to confirm if they have any in stock and they said they did, one bag left actually. However, when I was in the store and tried on almost every bag they had (haha) I came home with these two bags instead. I must say its really different when you try the bags on and not just looking at their photos over the net.

These two bags felt right at home - on my shoulders and arms. :D The hamsptead on the other hand, parang so-so lang, wasn’t really “it” for me …

So, my loot.

The Hampstead MM is still on my list though but not a priority anymore. Kung bigay ni Jon why not, bwahahahahaha.

Insuring one’s home.

Jon and I have long been contemplating on getting our home insured. My mom just recently had hers insured and she has been trying to convince us to do the same. People has been telling us that having a home insurance is very important as having one provides financial protection in case of theft or damage to one of our most prized possessions - our home which we have built with our own sweat and blood. Its no joke to have a house constructed and we should do everything to ensure its safety don’t you think? Jon and I know this but has been neglecting such as we felt we didn’t have extra budget for it. However, I was told that I could get best deals online I just have to make sure to carefully look and search for the cheapest Home Insurance Quotes from different insurance companies. I did find a site that shows me the best deals from various insurance providers and was I glad. I even stumbled upon a very good article- CNN Money on Insuring Your House that tackles the things we should know about insurances. The article was very helpful and I am glad I read it before I go choose an insurance provider. So if you are considering getting a home insurance like we do, take time to read the article and it will surely be of great help, trust me.

We are back!

Just like Jody, I can’t live without a helper. I grew up pampered thats why. Being the eldest and the only child for seven years, I was spoiled - rotten I must say. I remember even having a yaya until I was about 15 while I already had adult acne rubbing lotion on me, LOL! So you could just imagine how I hate doing things by myself especially household chores which is why I know I can’t live abroad where nannies or helpers are not around to help me. I can’t even get my own water for petes sake! Household chores pa kaya?!?!

i want to be flawless too

While in Hong Kong for a short vacation, I can’t help but notice how women there are so into beauty products. Everywhere I look, there are a dozen of beauty products being sold. Be it inside the malls, on the sidewalks and stores all over. I even got a couple of leaflets about natural acne treatment handed to me on my way to ride the MTR. Could this be the reason why most of women there have really nice skin?  I wonder if I should give such a try.  Who wouldn’t want flawless skin anyway?
