Jon’s Macau trip.

Let me share with you some photos taken by hubby’s friend during their trip to Macau two weeks ago. They stayed at Venetian Hotel and what can I say, this hotel was marvelous! Just look at their room.

To make or not to make…

It’s Teachers Day at Sophia’s school on Friday so they don’t have class. A day before, Thursday, there’s a special program for teachers and kids are asked to bring some food to share to the class. The frustrated chef in me wants to try to make a sweet potato pie but I’m having second thoughts.  I doubt if it’ll be as delicious so I just might end up ordering again from a friend who makes the yummiest apple pie.  Let’s see.

My C!

I heart the husband big time! :D

He came home from Macau with this …

Side Kwento:

Initially, he didn’t tell me if he bought it or not (but I did send him a print out of the bag and the style number). I didn’t dare ask too. Hehe. Even by the time we picked him up from the airport, I really didn’t know if he was able to buy it. After all, Sophia getting sick while he was away as I posted here made him not enjoy his vacation. Poor daddy.

When we got home, no metion of the bag still. We were just talking about other stuff - Sophia, Macau etc. And his luggage was still intact. We went to sleep after or should I say he went to sleep and then I couldn’t help it anymore. I opened his luggage and found nothing!!! Walang laman! Only his dirty clothes!!! Waaah!

But for some reason I knew he bought it. HAHA. I know my husband, he won’t let me down. LOL. I searched the room, our cabinets in the dark ha…. Mind you, he and Sophia were snoozing already as this was late na. I can’t find it still until ……

Here, I saw the precious black paper bag hidden at the back of Sophia’s clothes and our towels!!! HAHAHA. And he thought I won’t find it? Ako pa! I was laughing so hard with the stunt the hubby pulled off so I decided to take a pic haha. Wasn’t it so sweet of him??? :P

He just won’t get over it.

I’m talking about the husband, over this …

His 2008 Subaru Impreza STI.

You see, he has been wanting to get this race car after a friend had him test drive his at Batangas Racing Circuit months ago. He was supposed to buy this last month but due to my objections and constant “pangungunsensya”, he didn’t. He bought another vehicle instead as I posted here. He wasn’t happy I guess and even gave the car to his dad which the latter won’t even use until now as he finds it too big. He loves his Fortuner better according to him. Ahh, my FIL, such a simple man who practices simple living. He loves walking along Roxas Blvd and riding MRTs and LRTs just so you know.

Jon, on the other hand, feels that he owes something to himself as he has been extremely hardworking. I must say workaholic. So, this “race car” is his gift to himself “daw”. Just so you know, even before he was able to score a cheap car insurance for his new toy, he already bought new mags for his new baby. I don’t have any photo with the new mags on though. With the rate things are going, it seems like, its not going to end soon. I am hearing coilovers, spoilers, cpu boxes and more over the phone when he’s talking with his friends. Naku, lagot na.

My mom is turning 50!

Today I have to temporarily stop searching the net for a snowmobile exhaust for a cousin of mine as I need to focus on planning for my mom’s 50th birthday. Its just a simple dinner party at her house with Red and White as theme but now she suddenly wants party stuff like invites, balloons, a nice cake and pretty giveaways. Since the party is this coming October 10 already, I’m pretty much on a cramming mode. I’m done ordering the invites though thanks to Melisee and special mention to Monet. You know why, Monet. :)

Right now, I am looking at the giveaways which reminds me that I have to finalize them already. I am thinking of giving out rosary bracelets in pouches. I can’t think of anything else and time is running out so will most probably settle with these already. I already talked to a supplier and I hope things go well as planned.

Now for the cake, I have no idea where to get it as of now. Might visit Aggy’s at Festival Mall to inquire tomorrow. It’ll be convenient for me getting from them as I can just pick the cake up from their store on our way to Pampanga from Sophia’s school. I hope they have a cake within my mom’s budget though.

For balloons, I have no idea yet. I don’t think hiring someone to decorate the place is too much. Maybe the caterer can provide them. We’ll see.

Yesterday and Today.

Yesterday
1. I was supposed to go to Asian for my 4D re-scan but I suddenly felt dizzy after eating so much during lunch so I just slept.
2. I was able to update all our files in the steel cabinet, thank God, after all these years.
3. Jon purchased new mags for his new toy and I’m telling you, he’d better get me a really nice pasalubong from Macau this weekend or else, its war!

Today
1. I’m finishing all my assignments as I am off to Pampanga tomorrow with the little girl after school since the dad will be away for the weekend.
2. Need to find vegas hotels for my family’s US visit.
3. I need to pack Jon’s stuff.

Mine is a Classic.

A new work chair is what I need.

Have you heard of Hag Chairs? I haven’t until now. A friend told me about these one of a kind chairs when I told him I was looking for a comfortable work chair. You see, I’ve recently purchased a worktable and my old work chair isn’t height adjustable so I need to have it replaced. As recommended by a friend, I checked The Unique HAG Concept online and I was amazed at how a Hag Chair is supposedly going to make anyone who sits on it always feel balanced and poised, simply because the movement of the chair constantly adjusts to the body’s shifting center of gravity. Now, isn’t that cool? To add, each chair is designed to follow one’s movement and satisfy one’s need to vary any sitting position. Sounds too good to be true? Well, you can always check out for yourself. You can order Hag Chairs online at http://www.designer-seating.com. Choose from the vast chair collection in the site but the Capisco Chair gets my vote. See for yourself so you’ll know what I’m talking about.
