Extra time.

My little boy has been sleeping for hours while my big girl is also taking a nap so I have time in my hands now to surf the net until I drop. But I won’t drop I’m telling you. There’s just so much to do and look for over the web. But first things first, I did a little online shopping again. Oh yes, I just can’t help it. Ralph Lauren is my favorite online store now for the kids’ clothes. They are offering extra 30% off now by the way on selected stuff so you might want to check them out.

After visiting some of my favorite online store, I also made sure to research on how to get rid of cradle cap as Mateo is suffering from such. I don’t have any idea about it as Sophia didn’t have it so I want to read up on it. Its harmless though as I was told over and over but it isn’t a pretty site either. I’m so irritated when I see the dry skin that looks like dandruff on my baby’s head.

Lastly, I also need to look for some really classy bathroom fixtures to replace our old ones. I’m hoping to score some great deals online so wish me luck!

My Christmas.

This is very late I know but better late then never – MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

So how was your Christmas? I hope it was a merry and a meaningful one just like ours. Even if we mostly stayed at home, Christmas was still extra special this year as we were blessed with one BIG blessing – our baby boy who coincidentally turned one month old Christmas Day. He’s our new pride and joy now, same with his big sister Sophia.

Our Christmas Eve’s highlight was the opening of gifts. Our eldest, Sophia had the most number of gifts and I swear, she’s one lucky girl. Will post all the stuff she got when I get hold of my camera. I, on the other hand already got my Christmas gift a week before. Nope, its not a sexy lingerie or anything close to that. Rather, I got what I really want – another bag! Lookie …

This is going to be my last for the year but I do hope to get another one new year. I wish! haha

Gifts for the little girl.

I’m sure the little girl will be ecstatic come Christmas Day. Well, she actually has been already for the past week because of this but she has no idea that she’s also bound to get a new pink DS Lite (photo below) from my mom on the 25th aside from her BIG gifts neatly wrapped under our Christmas Tree. What a lucky girl! My mom was suppose to get her playstation 3 but I told her to buy the Nintendo DS Lite instead as I bet the little girl will enjoy it better.

I need sleep.

For the past days now, I have been sleeping really late. No, its not because of the newborn in the house as he sleeps at night (surprisingly), but rather, because of other reasons.

Saturday night was our Christmas Party with friends here in our house. It was super fun for both adults and kids. Photos to follow as those I have are not as good so I am waiting for the other shots from my friends.

Monday night was spent at my cousin’s wake. You see, my five year old cousin died of dengue. Its such a tragic event for the whole family. This year is probably the saddest Christmas ever but as I would remind myself, God has better plans. We surrender it all to him. No matter how painful, there’s really nothing we can do. Ericka is in heaven now and she’s at peace with our maker.

By 4:30am Wednesday morning, I was busy cooking Baked Macaroni as Sophia is asked to bring the dish to school for their party at 8am that day. I can’t entrust the cooking to my helper for some reasons so I cooked it myself. I’m glad I did as it turned out so yummy! Hahaha. Kapal ano? But surprisingly it was. :)

So you see, I’ve been lacking sleep lately so in the coming days I’m expecting to have zits all over my face but I need not worry as my best acne treatment is all ready. :)

Christmas Party ’08.

Waah!!!

As I downloaded our photos last Saturday (our Christmas Party), I can’t help but sigh as we obviously need the best fat burners around. Look …

Photo was taken after we played some games which explains our so stressed out look, LOL. Will post more pics of the party once my friends send me their shots taken with their SLRs.

The party was super fun thanks to our organizer – Jackie. :)

For tomorrow.

It’ll be Mateo’s first check up tomorrow and its my first time ever to leave the house too after I gave birth. Whew!

We got a couple of things to do on our itinerary as we have to maximize our time out. First, we’ll be dropping by Taima’s house (Jon’s lola) to show her Mateo and then head to the clinic for Mateo’s vaccine. Then, we’ll be off to C3 Events Place in Greenhills to pay the downpayment for the joint Birthday and Baptism celebration of the kids come March 1. Yes, the date will be on March 1 and I hope by that time my diet supplements would have worked wonders already. :D

Saturday 9.

Before I search the net for cheap auto insurance, I just can’t resist to snag this tag from Alpha’s blog just for fun and kill time while waiting for Mateo to wake up. :D
Saturday 9: Would You Take Them Back?

1. Think of all your exes. Would you take any of them back? No. ;)

2. What was the first car you drove? What happened to it? My mom’s Toyota Corolla. Its not with us anymore as my mom sold it and got a newer model.

3. What’s the longest amount of time you have driven a car non-stop? Hmmm, I usually drive from Pampanga to Manila and vice versa all the time when I was in college.

4. Have you ever been stood up on a date? If yes, when? No.

5. What TV network do you watch the most? I really don’t watch TV that much but if I do, I’d definitely watch Kapamilya shows than Kapuso’s.

6. Pick out a song you like that has special meaning to you. Share with us what song is it, and what’s the meaning to you. Say You Love Me. This was the song Jon would always play on his car when he was still courting me, teehee, kilig! :D

7. Who was your first celebrity crush on? Romnick Sarmiento or was it Sarmienta?, bwahahaha.

8. What is your favorite romantic comedy movie? Oh, a LOT.

9. It has been said, “First Loves Are Never Over.” Is this true for you? I don’t think so.

A quick post.

Having a newborn in the house wrecks havoc on one’s body clock. All mommies know that I’m sure. And I am no exemption. But I didn’t imagine it could be this bad. Three years ago, when I had Sophia, I’m sure it was also like this but I really couldn’t remember anymore. Having Mateo again now though reminded me how it was like that time – puyatan blues to the max.

You see, I don’t dare check how I look at the mirror these days as I’m quite sure I wouldn’t like what I’ll see. I hope in a month’s time it’ll be better. I’m thankful though that I can still go online every once in a while and check mails, do online tasks and some online shopping here and there. Today though, I need to finish a task about Wholesale Insurance term life insurance quote and with barely 3 hours of sleep, I can’t seem to make a decent article. Oh well, I hope I’ll be able to come up with something at the end of the day. In the meantime, I leave you with Mateo’s latest photo.
