Decided.

It took me daysss to finally decide on what camera to get. I was torn between getting a point and shoot (but with comprehensive manual settings) – Panasonic DMC LX3 and a SLR specifically the Nikon D60. After a week of changing my mind almost every other day, today, I have decided – finally.

I have thought long and hard. Asked some friends even. And the verdict? As much as I want to have a SLR (obviously for better picture quality), it just doesn’t fit my lifestyle, owning one I mean. Its just not me. I really find it hard or should I say a hassle lugging such a big camera around (with its unfashionable bag / carry case) when we go trips here and especially abroad where there are no yayas to help us carry our stuff. The husband isn’t into taking photos so its really me who’ll have to carry it around as Jon is in charge of the diaper bag and stroller you know. So, with two kids in tow and all the stuff they need when we travel, I just have to content myself with a really nice point and shoot. Don’t get me wrong, its not that I am not happy with my choice. In fact, I love the Panasonic DMC LX3 camera since the day I laid my eyes on it and it came very well recommended even by DSLR enthusiasts. Design wise, its very sleek and simple, just how I like it considering its a high performance camera. So really, couldn’t ask for anything better. This camera fits my lifestyle, its so me – I could just throw it in my bag anytime, any day. It doesn’t need a bag / carry case of its own and its not heavy!

So there. I’m hoping I made the right choice and won’t regret getting the Panasonic DMC LX3 over a DSLR or else the husband will throw a fit if I bug him again to get me a new camera when I actually don’t *really* need one (according to him) as my Canon Ixus 60 is still working and is in good shape ( according to him again! haha).

Anyway, can’t wait to try this Panasonic DMC-LX3 which is said to be the long-awaited addition to the popular Lumix LX series of high-end, compact digital still cameras. I hope its worth it and will live up to all the talk it has recently been getting.

Off to read a liporexall review now while waiting for my cam to arrive. I badly need to lose weight you see. Might hit the beach before the summer ends so I need to look my best.

Change of heart?

Okay, now I am in trouble.

I badly want a red bag and I am set on getting the Vernis Bellevue GM in red as all of you recommended in this post but for days now, I can’t stop thinking about this …

… after seeing the very same bag (but in green) on Katie Holmes.

Think think think ….

****(seriously, I’m getting wrinkles (and probably needs a wrinkle cream  by now) thinking over which bag to get, LOL)

Saturday 9: With a Little Help From My Friends.

Saturday 9: With a Little Help From My Friends.

1. How many of your friendships have lasted more than ten years? I only have a few. I’ve known them since high school.

2. Which of your current friends do you feel will still be important to you ten years from now? Those who know me inside out and who love me even with all my flaws. You know who you are :D

3. It’s Friday evening and you’re planning your weekend. What’s on your agenda? We’ll be out of town with my blogging friends this weekend. Can’t wait, so many activities lined up. A usual weekend would mean malling (and some shopping) and church though.

4. What was the most recent movie to scare you or give you the creeps? I usually don’t watch scary movies.

5. Finally, the new cast and movie of Star Trek are out. Excited or indifferent? Not really interested. I’m not really a fan. I saw the new cast though one time when I was surfing the net for ephedra diet pills.

6. Do you have any nervous habits? I keep quiet.

7. Do you swear in general? No.

8. Do you swear on your blog? No.

9. Does it bother you when you read a post with curse words? Not really.

Could this be it?

With my weight issues right now, I have never been more interested with weight loss products. I have spent hours and hours surfing the net for the best diet pills or diet supplemets but not one of them seems to convince me that they are worth a try.  After watching a feature about Stemulite though, I am hoping that the long search for the right product for me is finally over. *crossfingers*  A friend swore on this product’s effectiveness and I am hoping it will have the same positive effects on me too.  You see, I badly want to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight and its so damn hard to do so even after I gave up eating sweets and only gets to have two meals a day. Its frustrating!  I never thought I would have problems losing weight as I have been reed thin ever since and I would even take appetite stimulants so I could gain some weight. But look at me now, far from needing any appetite stimulant as I am around 10 pounds overweight, ugh!

So wish me luck. Hopefully, Stemulite will be the answer to my prayers. :)

I can’t afford getting both this time so I need to decide asap. Which is which? I need inputs please as I can’t seem to decide on my own. I like both kasi, haha. If only its as easy as deciding on what ellipticals to get, then I’d be able to decide in a flash.

Hay… I wish I have budget for these two bags!
