Stress!

We have the sickies in the house, ugh! Last night was the worst as my little boy woke up at 2am with a congested nose and didn’t sleep until it was around 4am already. Poor baby! Right now, the daddy isn’t feeling well too. I already gave him medicine to be sure. Sophia, on the other hand, is on her way to recovery, I hope. Good thing that they don’t have classes today so she can rest the whole day. Its going to be a busy day today. Being sleepless makes it worst actually. I really wish my little will get better, really soon or I’ll be all worried and would probably need the best wrinkle cream in the market.Hay, what stress can really bring …

MBAPS Meet Up

Okay, it was raining really really hard and my little boy had the sickies but nothing can stop me from attending the meet up/birthday treat of June celebrants – Jody, Jacqui, Joy and Me.  So amidst the rain, Aggie (with the tons of goodies from Glo) and me with the driver and my little girl, trooped to Jody’s house. We got lost along the way, going around in circles (literally!) but when we finally made it – chika time!!! :D

Jody ordered an Alex Franco cake and it never failed of course. Ang sarap! I ate a big serving and so did most of the MBAPS but no worries, we have the best weight loss supplement anyway.

Right now, I’m still waiting for the pictures to be uploaded. Of course I didn’t bring my camera. Why would I when everybody else will, for sure. :)

My joys etc.

More than anything else, these two are my source of ultimate joy – barnone. Something others won’t probably get until they become mothers themselves. Having them turned my life upside down, in a very positive way. Nothing else matters anymore since I had them. Always my utmost priority on everything even if it means giving up on some pleasures Jon and I could enjoy by ourselves but opt not because we just can’t leave them behind. No, not a day or two. Not at all.

my joys ...

Traveling took a back seat when I gave birth to our little boy. Now that he’s getting bigger though, plans are up. Way way up.  Can’t wait. All we need to do now is wait …  for a little while when Mateo’s bigger to travel to places we’ve always wanted to see.  It’ll never be as fun seeing new places without them. And worrying about them while on a trip is one thing we wouldn’t want too so there is no way we are going anywhere without our angels.  Konting tiis na lang naman. :)

So for now, I have to content myself looking at other people’s travel photos online hoping that one day soon we’ll also be able to visit the same places.  Sometimes, it gets tiring to wait and I get so envious so I distract myself and would shop online instead or help a friend research about mesothelioma. Then, I really get distracted. I hope nobody I know gets it because that will be really really sad.

Back to traveling, the weather is acting up again.  How can we push through with our Shang Mactan trip with all these rain?!?!

Random Questions 18.

1. What is your favorite song at the moment? The Climb by Miley Cyrus, haha!

3. Is tomorrow looking good? I hope so. No plans really but a long time friend is dropping by to try to make me get another life insurance policy which I don’t think I need now. One is enough I think. I did however told her to show me her mortgage life insurance rates so I can show the husband. But no promises.

5. Do you like to wear flip-flops? Yes. When I do the groceries haha.

6. Did the last person you kiss have tattoos? No.

7. What was the last movie you watched? Hannah Montana The Movie.

8. Can you go a day without laughing? I can’t remember I did. Right now, that is close to impossible as the two kids in the house make me laugh the whole time.

9. When was the last time you had a REAL smile on your face? Today.

10. Are you a simple or complicated person? Both. :)

Thanks Chikai!

Big Boys.

My brothers that is. They enter college this school year.  It seem not too long ago when they’ll fight over their robots and Mc Do Happy Meals and now they are all grown up.  They still fight every once in awhile over petty stuff like Ragnarok and Cabal though, LOL. Seriously, when I look at them now, I can’t seem to imagine how small they used to be. Both of them are 6 footers now like my dad and despite being twins, they never look alike, not even an inch. Personality wise, they are very different too. One is outgoing while the other one is an introvert. But one thing they have in common right now is the need to wear prescription glasses. I told them about $ 8 Rx eyeglasses from Zenni Optical and boy were they ecstatic. They can have five pairs each for the price! Haha. They asked me how I knew about these very cheap but quality glasses and told them that I saw Zenni Optical on TV!!! Where else?!?! Now both of them are excited to get their orders. They managed to get 3 pairs each, I think. High Five to Zenni Optical!

Husband’s back…

from his quick trip to HK. He’s got nothing for me except for my cheap “bilin” – Longchamp Le Pliage Large Tote.

longchamp le pliage large tote

Aside from my bag and RL polo shirts for the kids and him, he bought nothing else. He was surely on a tipid trip! And tipid he needs to make as when he sees my budget proposal for our upcoming US trip, he might choke! LOL. No kidding. I almost choked too when I finished computing everything from airfare to hotel reservations to car rentals for our two whole weeks of stay. You see, I already included San Diego, Las Vegas and San Francisco in our itinerary. We were supposed to just stay in LA but I decided otherwise.  Sayang naman since we’re there already so we might as well explore other cities. Now, this really gets me excited!

For now, I need a break looking for flight and hotel deals. Will read Decaslim reviews first. The husband needs to lose a lot of weight again. What else is new?!?

Gap Sale.

I was supposed to be looking at netbooks online for my brother when I happen to drop by Gap’s website. And what do you know, they are offering summer must haves at stock up prices. In short, a sale! Lucky me you say? Nah. Far from it. God knows I cannot afford to shop for anything right now. I have got so much on my plate – Mateo’s 1st Birthday Party, Shang Mactan Getaway, HK Trip and US Trip.

I am hoping for a fairy god mother to show up and spare me some shopping money though. :) I would love to get these…

Gossip fix.

Confession Time.

I get hold of my monthly “gossip” fix through YES magazine. My mother in law buys it for me actually. Each month, as soon as a new issue is out, a copy will be in our house a few days later. Its the only entertainment magazine I read from cover to cover. And I find ultimate joy reading it. Swear. Who wouldn’t when everything inside are juicy gossips written very decently and professionally. I love it!

And for last month’s issue, they have Gretchen Baretto with her recreational vehicle on cover. The girl was reed thin but was beautiful as ever. Her RV was way too cool. She didn’t divulge the cost though but everybody was speculating that such would cost around 9M. If I remember right, the RV was a gift from her beau Tony Boy Cojuangco who else. He needed no rv finance for sure as for this business magnate, 9M is probably nothing. And they say life is fair. Tsk tsk tsk.
