Today is a happy day! Wonderful surprises greeted me and I can’t stop smiling. Two friends are getting married while a cousin is finally expecting after seven long years of waiting for their biggest blessing. Isn’t God great? He is! And we should all be thankful always. Personally, I have something to celebrate too as my son is turning one next week. And after his almost two months bout with allergy-caused colds, he is now all well and cold free. I hope I’m not speaking too soon though. I need him to be well not only in time for his party but in time for our travel real soon also. His winter gear are all ready and so as his ate’s and I’m one excited mommy to see them in boots and all.

Speaking of travels, my mom and dad have been planning on finally going on a second honeymoon which I think is long overdue already, haha. I’ve been helping them scout around for a perfect place to go to and so far, it looks like its going to be Mexico. I’ve seen the playa del carmen hotels and absolutely perefect for both of them. Will just have to check the price though if budget fits. And if it does, then Mexico it is!

I just can’t resist. Since my in laws are still in the US, I can’t not get these stuff on sale at Ralph Lauren …

I hope they arrive right in time before the in laws leave so I can save on shipping. They only have one more week to stay in the Outer Banks vacation rental look alike they are renting out in Atlanta before they go back so I need to be fast and order these already or else they won’t make it and have to content myself again waiting for a month or so. No way.

Just so you know, I started with 10 items on my shopping cart but had to be practical and reasonable so I ended up with only the items above. Mateo has a lot of RL polo shirts already! Enough.

In between shopping for the kids online I also am looking at newer Samsung HDTV models as we are thinking of getting Jon’s best friend one on his wedding day. I need a good deal so I am mega canvassing around.  As for shopping for the kids, I am glad there’s the ever reliable Old Navy and Gap.  Since my in laws are in the US now and will be back already next week, I need to be fast and order the stuff I plan to get asap.

I ran out of invitations for Mateo’s Party! Instantly called Adworks to order extra and I’m gald they can accommodate my request ASAP. Will pick up the extra invites on Thursday, same day I am taking the loose diamonds my mom gave me to the jeweler for Sophia’s bracelet. I’m hoping to be able to drop by Shang Mall too for Sophia and my outfit for the party. We still don’t have anything to wear! Mateo’s outfit has yet to arrive too! Uh-oh. I smell STRESS.

I could only wish for uninterrupted sleep lately. Mateo has been waking up every so often at night for the past weeks now for reasons I don’t know. Sigh.

So any eye cream recommendations? I don’t want looking like a zombie on his party in the coming weeks you know. Just look at my eye bags on the photo below. YUCK!

I’ve lacking sleep so I also can’t function well during the day.  And I have tons of work to do, ugh!!!

For several reasons, I have been putting off getting new luggages since I can’t remember when. Well, for one, the Samsonite luggages I have been wanting are way expensive and I don’t have budget for them just now (or so I thought). Second, since the old ones we have are still okay with my standards, I can’t seem to find the need to get new ones. But because of our upcoming trip to the US, I now have to have big luggages that can hold two weeks worth of clothes for Jon, the kids and I. And clearly, ours can’t hold that much.

So been looking around the net and found the perfect luggage set at Macy’s. They are still expensive all right but I am paying for the quality and I am all for that. Besides I can always use some online discount coupons which are heaven sent to shoppers like me. Don’t you agree?
