Lets Go Swimming!

Its summer time once again. And although I’m not a fan of the heat, I can’t wait for the kids to go swimming. It’ll be my son’s first time if ever so I am real excited. With the way things are going though, looks like our Bora plan isn’t pushing through. Not yet sure, I think. Good thing we are attending a mini reunion with my cousins on April 3 and 4 at Fontana in Clark so the kids can actually have their first swimming outing of the year. Swimming with my cousins’ kiddos, I bet my kids will have so much fun. I am actually shopping online now for their swimwear while at the same time researching for low cost term life insurance rates online too. I’ve been putting off getting an insurance but with the times now, its probably high time to get one for myself.

Anyway, believe it or not, its my and the kids’ first time to go to Fontana Water Park so I don’t know what to expect. Been to Fontana Villas but not the water park so I googled and found this ….

Looks promising. We’ll see …

Husband is away.

The husband left for Brisbane this afternoon. He’ll be away for four days so surely, the kids and I will miss him. He’s been going on frequent business trips lately, have you noticed? If only my little boy is a bit older, we could tag along. Ohh, I can’t wait for that day to come. I love going on trips with the family. Tiring but definitely a bonding experience for all four of us. Anyway, to not make me feel bad, the husband made me write my “bilins” and aside from the usual stuff I’d like to get when he comes back, he was so surprised to see a solution that promises to get rid of blackheads on the list. LOL. Well, I told him a friend swears by the product and its not available here so he better get me one! :P

Really.

It has been four years since I started blogging. Honestly speaking, I never knew I’d last this long. Although compared to before, some two years ago I think, I post less lately, I’d still like to say that I still love what they claim to be dying art now called blogging. This is where I met new people and eventually built friendships. It also has become an outlet for my thoughts, my wants and desires and disappointments. Sometimes I wish nobody I know gets to read what I write but according to a seo software I am subscribed to, that ain’t happening. I wonder how they get to know of my blogs though. Sometimes people tend to judge but that’s life.  I know better so the hell I care.  One thing – stop reading if you don’t like what I’m writing. Its that simple. Really.

TB.

Even if I have been taking the budgeting advice at budgetingadvice.net seriously for months now, I can’t help but slip every once i a while. I’m only human after all. :D I vow to be more serious on budgeting though as house construction will start any moment now so these Tory Burch probably will be my last unnecessary purchase for the year. Yes, I’m keeping my fingers crossed on this and you should too, lol. Nonetheless, I am very happy with these …

Clutter.

I am de-cluttering our closets since yesterday and boy what a mess I made in the house. We have accumulated so much junk in the past five years. From unused lotions that are all expired now to bottles of perfumes and canisters of cocoa butter for stretch marks I hoarded when I was pregnant. Everything is just sitting in the closet unused for years.  What a waste. :(   By this afternoon, I will work on our old clothes and hopefully can come up with a garage sale soon. Half of the clothes though I promise to donate to a charity. Wish me luck.

To go or not to go.

Today, I am both happy and worried. Why? Final revision layout for our house has been emailed to me and after getting Jon’s and my specifications right this time, house floor area has reached 496sqm. My oh my! This was unintended and was definitely not in our plan. We were aiming for around 430 to 450sqm only. With just two kids and only Jon and I, this house would be a bit big, don’t you think? More than that, I am worried of the maintenance it would cost us also. Count in budget constraints too! Building a house is way so expensive now I tell you. Way expensive that you won’t even imagine how. Looks like my dream of going Hansgrohe all the way for our bathroom fixtures would end up with an American Standard toilet instead if we give this layout a go. Well, not that there’s something wrong with the latter. I also heard good feed backs about the brand and I think its very practical.

Now I wonder if we should already give this layout a go or if not, a week or two again for a new layout. That would cost so much delay already. We’re aiming to start construction first week of May. Hay …

My Little Black Book

To start the year 2010 right on track, I got myself a little black book for my reminders to self, to do’s and what-nots. Planners don’t work for me at all so no point of getting one. So far, my little black book is doing me wonders. I am on the 10th page and right on track. For this week, I am happy to see that my to do’s are very few! Just to write a few articles and thanks to my ever reliable wireless router, I can easily accomplish that. I hope I can keep this up. *wish wish!*
