Confirmed and PAID.

After offering me various travel deals options, I finally settled and even paid our travel agent for a 4 day – 2 night city and 1 night Disneyland Hotel, HK trip for August 4, 5, 6 and 7. We will be staying at Parklane Hotel in Causeway Bay as usual for our city hotel but we are trying the other Disney Hotel this time. We used to stay at Hollywood Hotel (twice already) so Jon suggested to try Disneyland Hotel for this trip. Although more expensive, I am sure Sophia will LOVE the character buffet breakfast at Enchanted Gardens in this hotel so the extra hundred dollars will be oh so worth it. I can’t wait! The little girl will surely be occupied while eating breakfast as she can mingle with the Disney Characters as they hop from one table to another.

As early as now, I also have our itinerary planned already. You see, I make sure to not tire the little girl, as with every trip we have, so I have a very easy and light itinerary. Besides, being pregnant, I also cannot afford a hectic schedule for this trip.

Here’s our IT:

August 4

- We’ll be arriving in HK at 10 am so by lunch we’ll all be settled in our city hotel. Lunch first and then take a rest = NAP for the little girl and me.

- By afternoon, go around Causeway Bay. Everything is within range from our hotel – LV stores and the like, Sogo, Times Square, Ikea, Toys R Us etc.

- Dinner.

August 5

- Have breakfast at the hotel. Parklane has got the best breakfast buffet ever! So this is something to look forward to.

- Go to Central after by taking MTR. Must go to place in Central – H&M and Marks and Spencer to get Sophia undies and socks. The Marks and Spencer in Times Square doesn’t carry baby stuff as I was told although I didn’t notice the last time we were there.

- SHOP DAY

August 6

- Disneyland Day. Check in at Disneyland Hotel and spend the whole day at the happiest place on earth.

August 7

- Character Buffet Breakfast at Disneyland Hotel.

- Go to Tung Chung. Our flight is not yet until 6pm so I have got a lot of time to go outlet store shopping there.

The shoe hunt ends, finally.

The shoe hunt for the little girl finally ends.

Read here.

The perfect shoe hunt.

I have been trying to find the perfect silver shoes for Sophia to wear this Saturday for my cousin’s wedding but I couldn’t get to see one I like.  Most shoes in silver that would perfectly match with her flowergirl gown usually don’t have her size.  They are mostly for one to two year olds. How sad is that?  The silver shoes available in her size are all ballet shoes which I am veering away from as much as possible. I wanted to get her nice silver “dressy” shoes, if there is ever such a term.  Oh, just three days to go and she is still shoeless!

I hope tomorrow proves to be a lucky day. We’ll troop to all other malls near our area and I hope to be lucky and find her the perfect pair!

My Shopping Marathon.

I failed.

I didn’t get to finish my Christmas Shopping list even after my shopping marathon at Shangri-la Mall yesterday. I just have too much on my list to buy in a day. I did get the little girl most of her toys though aside from Aquadoodle as they run out of stock which is probably a sign not to get her one already as she’ll be overflowing with toys come Christmas Day, promise :D

To mommies who were interested with the Play-Doh Creativity Center I was supposed to get for Sophia, Rustans doesn’t have it but they do have the Play-Doh Super Craft Caddy which was good enough for me.

I’m telling you, Jon’s card had a beating, really bad :D And tomorrow, it’ll have some more. LOL

Christmas Rush.

I’m devoting my entire Monday to finish my Christmas list – by hook or by crook.

Wish me luck.
