Confirmed and PAID.

After offering me various travel deals options, I finally settled and even paid our travel agent for a 4 day – 2 night city and 1 night Disneyland Hotel, HK trip for August 4, 5, 6 and 7. We will be staying at Parklane Hotel in Causeway Bay as usual for our city hotel but we are trying the other Disney Hotel this time. We used to stay at Hollywood Hotel (twice already) so Jon suggested to try Disneyland Hotel for this trip. Although more expensive, I am sure Sophia will LOVE the character buffet breakfast at Enchanted Gardens in this hotel so the extra hundred dollars will be oh so worth it. I can’t wait! The little girl will surely be occupied while eating breakfast as she can mingle with the Disney Characters as they hop from one table to another.

As early as now, I also have our itinerary planned already. You see, I make sure to not tire the little girl, as with every trip we have, so I have a very easy and light itinerary. Besides, being pregnant, I also cannot afford a hectic schedule for this trip.

Here’s our IT:

August 4

- We’ll be arriving in HK at 10 am so by lunch we’ll all be settled in our city hotel. Lunch first and then take a rest = NAP for the little girl and me.

- By afternoon, go around Causeway Bay. Everything is within range from our hotel – LV stores and the like, Sogo, Times Square, Ikea, Toys R Us etc.

- Dinner.

August 5

- Have breakfast at the hotel. Parklane has got the best breakfast buffet ever! So this is something to look forward to.

- Go to Central after by taking MTR. Must go to place in Central – H&M and Marks and Spencer to get Sophia undies and socks. The Marks and Spencer in Times Square doesn’t carry baby stuff as I was told although I didn’t notice the last time we were there.

- SHOP DAY

August 6

- Disneyland Day. Check in at Disneyland Hotel and spend the whole day at the happiest place on earth.

August 7

- Character Buffet Breakfast at Disneyland Hotel.

- Go to Tung Chung. Our flight is not yet until 6pm so I have got a lot of time to go outlet store shopping there.

Sad Newsss.

I have been very sick these past few days. I had a very severe sore throat followed by a terrible dry cough and was even running a fever Friday night. What makes it worst is, as you all know, I am pregnant – 13 weeks to be exact.

Hay. :(

As of today, I am feeling better thank God. I’m into Amoclav and is advised to take lots and lots of rest. If you are wondeirng how I got sick, I am assuming I got it from the little girl. She has been running a fever and was having bad cough episodes the days before I did. She’s all better now though, thank God for that too. It was really me who have had to endure the worst.

Now, with this, I have canceled (will just have it re-booked) our HK trip which was supposed to be next week June 9, Monday. I wasn’t allowed by my OB to travel not until after I take a full rest and gets to recharge again. Well, I agree, I feel so weak now so an HK trip will not do.

Hay again. :(

But right now, what really matters is for me to really get well and for my baby “bullet” to be all fine. I pray to God he is. Even if my OB assures me that the meds I am taking are extremely safe, I still can’t help but worry. Pleas please please, I really hope he is okay.

Hay, sana naman. :(

Plan we are putting off …

because of our upcoming “bullet”. :D

Yes, bullet, if the Chinese Calendar will be as accurate.

We were supposed to have a short (two weeks) trip to the US this coming June, right before Sophia starts school on the 16th.  Plans were laid out – one week in LA and a week in Florida.  I was even scouting for cheap tickets already as I told Jen while I was chatting with her.  I was really excited but I guess the Big Man has bigger plans for us.  After all, travel plans can always be rescheduled.  I don’t think I can handle being on my first trimester and travel with a toddler so it was a very easy decision to make, we had to cancel.  As for our other travel plans for the year, I doubt it.  Traveling has to take a back seat now.  Instead, I am looking forward to baptism and birthday parties!

Booked.

I was able to book for Boracay this coming May 16-18 to my mom’s delight. As I previously posted, she has been bugging me to have a short getaway to Bora as we all have never been there. This morning, I was able to avail of Sea Air’s buy 10 take 2 promo so I’m giddy happy. Huge savings din!

Right now, I’m looking for a hotel to stay in at Station 1. I like Two Seasons as the rooms are really nice as well as the resort but would still welcome other suggestions you may have. I’ve considered Waling-Waling but its too far from D’mall daw and D talipapa? Another friend is recommending either Boracay Regency or Le Soleil de Boracay even if they are at Station 2 as both are nice naman daw. Jon’s friend on the other hand is raving about Sand Castles and True Home Hotel as both are in Station 1 but very near Station 2 which has all the happenings. Any comments?

If you have any suggestions, please please share them with me so I can book early. Thanks!

Guam.

So excited!

I called our hotel in Guam yesterday to inquire about our airport pick-up since we are arriving at 1am when I suddenly had the urge to call the LV store right infront of our hotel too. Wala lang, I just wanted to call and find out if they really don’t charge taxes and if it’s really a bit cheap there. I wasn’t disappointed. Goods are indeed tax-free and what’s more, a bit cheaper pa! :D Now, I have the biggest grin on my face I swear! :P

I asked for the price of MC Alma and its at $1570, $10 cheaper than the price posted at eluxury. No taxes pa. Woohoo!!! :D

Now, wouldn’t you have the biggest grin too if ever? :D

Hafa Adai …

means Hello! :D

Oh, the visas are going to be put to test (naks, what a word haha), we are going to have a short getaway in Guam this March. Sophia and I will soak in the beach and we’re going to have a tan! Oh, I can’t wait. :D

We’ll be staying in a beach front hotel in Tumon Bay, The Outrigger Hotel which is located in the center of the major tourist area across the extravagant Tumon Plaza, Galeria and Tumon Sands Plaza duty free shopping complexes . As I researched, Outrigger’s location can’t be beat, it’s an easy walk to great restaurants and the beach is right off the lobby. Now, that makes me really excited. Even if I’m no beach lover, I would try to be one just this once. LOL.

Guam’s unique duty free status is just one more reason why I am giddy happy and giddy excited. :D Let’s see if I can bring home one designer bag. ;)

US visas granted.

We were granted US visas today :D Clap Clap

Yes, after almost a month of anticipating for this day, it’s finally over and it bore good news. :)

We were scheduled for an 8am interview but we were interviewed later, around 9:45am already. The interview went so smooth. Not a single document I prepared was looked at. We were asked a few questions, Jon specifically, about his business and our travel plans. Before we knew it, the interview was over. It barely lasted for five minutes haha.

The passports are yet to be delivered but I’m telling you, I saw the officer write M for multiple and 10 for 10 years, swear!!!! Ganun ka-clear ang vision ko. :P Diba Abie? :P

***Special thanks to Abie for all the help! Sis, thank you talaga I owe you a lot! Mwah! Parang ikaw yung travel agent ko hahahaha. You kept me right on track girl!

We’re not going.

It’s final. Talked to my agent last night and she wasn’t able to book us for HK after Christmas.  Parklane Hotel is full the whole of December. She was offering Miramar Hotel but couldn’t get Hollywood Hotel’s confirmation so kinda complicated that she herself suggested to put off the trip as it was too soon.  Oh well …

Sana January but Jon opts for March so Nancy, my sister in law, can join us as she’ll be coming home from the US for a three week vacation.  Hay, di na malamig nun! :(   Tsk tsk.

HK update.

I have no word from my travel agent yet as of today. She told me (yesterday) I’ll know tomorrow if she can still confirm flights and hotels even with the short notice. I was warned too of the price as it’s pretty much higher than normal. Super mahal, I guess. Still, I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I hope she can still squeeze us in :)

Kase naman, wala sa plano ito :D Biglaan lang.

I hope we push through as I badly want to be in HK at this time of year. Super lamig!!!! I’m sure Sophia will have a blast in Disneyland too because of the cold weather :D

HK?

Got a text from hubby while Sophia and I was malling this morning.

“ask jen (our travel agent) if she can book for hk before or after christmas”.

Hala, I called him up instantly. As expected, he was laughing, ang bilis ko daw tumawag. I’m not usually like that eh. LOL. So I asked him, for who, and he said for us (jon, sophia and me) daw and his mom and dad (my in laws).

You should have seen me, I had the biggest grin ever! :D
